Abstract

We will describe the BeyondPlanck collaboration, which is a Horizon2020 COMPET-4 program that will support LFI processing until March 2020. This collaboration includes members from Oslo, Helsinki, Milano, Planetek and Trieste. The main technical goal of the collaboration is to integrate the core components of the Planck LFI analysis pipeline (calibration, map making and component separation) into one coherent framework running without intermediate human interaction, and thus in effect implement the first time-domain Gibbs sampler in CMB analysis. This Gibbs sampler will then be used to complete the iterative process that was started with the Planck 2018 data release, and run the Planck LFI processing until convergence.
